Bike path that glows at night in Poland

Cycling is one of the best ways that is friendly with environment. In some countries in the world, people build some glow roads at night to create excitement for cyclists.


Maybe you known the" Van Gogh - Roosegaarde", famous bike path in Netherlands . The road can glow at night by thousands of LED bulbs are scanning a reflective coating and use solar power.


Inspired from path in the Netherlands, recently, the Polish government has launched a solar-powered bike path that glows at night. 100m long road built by the company TPA Instytut Badan construction Technicznych Lidzbark Warminski area of ​​northern Poland.

Reportedly, path was made of special material, recharge solar energy during the day to illuminate at  night. When it gets dark, the material is luminescent blue, creating space shimmering . According to the share of the designer, the reason they chose this color because blue creates the pleasant to the eye, ensuring the safety of cyclists at night.



Roads classified into 2 parts, one side for bicycles, and a side for walk . It’s made from a synthetic material that can give out light for up to ten hours at a time once charged by the sun throughout the day.
