Tomato throwing festival dye red Colombia streets


The first days of June, the  Sutamarchán town,  Boyaca state, Colombia is tinged red tomatoes. Festival is place that tomatoes yields is highest in Latin America takes place annually. This is the 10th year the festival was held.
Estimating more than 20 000 visitors flock here to attend this festival. The participants wore  white T-shirts and holding the succulent tomatoes and throw in the people around.

In addition to throwing tomatoes, this festival also  eating tomato contest and the largest size tomato. This festival was originated from a similar festival of Spain.

Dozens of locals and tourists unleash throwing tomatoes at each other.
