Tunnels passing giant trees


Situated in the Pacific Ocean coast,  north of California is  Redwood National Park , this primeval forests where conservation about 45 % acreage Sequoia sempervirens, also known as Sequoia trees or coast redwood.
This plant is one of the species have lifespan and largest size of the Earth. These giant trees can grow up to 90 meters and have a lifespan on up to 3,000 years, its trunk diameter can reach 9m.

Tree was carved hollow to make streetcar .The first, it was created in Tuolumne Grove in Yosemite National Park in 1875 with the aim to stimulate the development of tourism and visitors who pass through it will have to pay a cost. This tunnel is made  of a 2,500-year-old Giant Sequoia after it was struck by lightning.
Due to concern about environment ,now the trees like this have not been created any more, but visitors can admire the artifacts are preserved very careful , these are the remains of a historical stage  in the national park in California.
