Amazing Blood fall , Antarctida

Taylor Glacier is one of the most positions where scientists  and the explorers  interested  in Antarctica, "Blood Falls" located in  Taylor Glacier, Antarctida, . Though the lake was covered by thick white layer of ice up to 400 meters , Between a glacial lake appeared  waterfall , especially over this water is red. This phenomenon is indeed mysterious and unusual.

Taylor Glacier lake was formed from the  sea water invade land  from 1.5 million years ago. At that time, sea level worldwide was much higher than the present. The salt concentration in the blood stream of the falls  higher than fourfold normal sea water. Therefore, this waterfall is almost never freeze even at temperatures down to -10°C.
Blood Falls was discovered in 1911. The first analysis in Antarctida think red is the color of the water due to algae, but until later discovered the exact answer. Scientists from the Dartmouth University and Harvard University (USA) decided to learn the secrets of the blood specimen.

When analyzing the chemical composition of the extraction of blood water samples, they found that the existence of a large of sulfurous acid salt oxidation with iron ions to produce water from the bottom to push up deep mud. When the iron compounds dissolved in liquid solution, iron ions generated red solution.
